It’s All Natural – Volume 2.
For those who missed the announcement at the Alaska Sportsman shows, here's the official announcement for Proving Trail Adventure's third video release.
The It’s All Natural series continues with Volume 2, more full-length Dall sheep hunts across Alaska with Scott and Steve. Liz Luber also makes another appearance with her sights set on a "normal" ram this time. More long miles, more full curls and more celebratory campfires. It's more pure, authentic, adventure.
4 hunts – 112 min
Volume 2 is currently available at this link:
We mentioned last summer that we had one more gear change for this season that would further reduce weight from our loaded packs. We wanted to put a full hunting season on our new Kifaru Grab-Its to see if we really did favor it over our tried and true Cargo Chairs. We both hauled out multiple animals on our backs this fall so it was a good test year.
Proving Trail Adventures is announcing the release of It’s All Natural with Volume 1. This is the first in a new series of videos highlighting dall sheep hunts all across Alaska.
As a prequel to Lace 'em Up, Volume 1 takes you back to the beginning when Scott and Steve first discover Ram Nation. Sheep hunting isn't just for the guys either, Liz Luber takes on the sheep slopes in pursuit of her first full curl that same year. All four of these new sheep hunting adventures were filmed in their entirety and will get you fired up for your next trip to the high country. If you liked Lace ‘em Up, you’ll love It’s All Natural. It’s Pure, Authentic, Adventure.
4 Hunts – 98 minutes and plenty of ram footage to help get you through the winter months.
Pre-orders are currently being accepted on our Hunting Videos webpage. We’ll try our best, but we can’t guarantee delivery by Christmas as we’re at the mercy of our production company. We’re sure the hunter or little hunter-to-be in your life would love to get this IOU from Santa in their stocking on Christmas morning.
Keep in mind that the shipping costs are the same for a one-DVD purchase as they are for a two-DVD purchase, so go ahead and order that second copy for a last minute gift!
It was a strange feeling to not be in the sheep mountains on August 10th. I was anxious to get after some rams. I arrived in Anchorage on August 29th ready for Sheep Hunt 2013, Plan B. With Scott having already filled his tag, we adjusted our plans. We didn’t want to risk the possibility of me killing Scott’s 2014 ram that will complete his seven mountain ranges quest and we each had a Tier 1 Nelchina caribou tag this year. So we decided to try to accomplish a “quick” sheep hunt so we could get in a caribou hunt as well during my stay.
After a day with the family and enough time to dry our gear and re-stock we had just enough time to attempt a big buck hunt. There was a small window of opportunity for some clear weather ahead. I decided to take Scott to the location of the buck from opening weekend. I knew there was at least one buck up there that Scott would want to take.
